How an artist found global inspiration with a few clicks of his mouse
With help from Google Street View
Artists throughout time have been inspired by landscapes. Painter, Bill Guffey is no exception.
But when he sought scenes outside his small town in Kentucky, he turned to Google Street View.
Bill is able to virtually travel to sites thousands of miles away from him and capture their unique beauty.
By painting landscapes from canal houses in Amsterdam to the beaches of the Canary Islands, Bill shows that an idea and Google Maps can be a portal to the rest of the world!
Where will Bill find himself inspired next?
